These are the best of my Red Lillies - I have been hit badly by the Lily Beetle this year - if you have Lillies then check for the Lily Beetle as soon as your plants start to grow - sadly I have to destroy a lot of my Lily Bulbs because of this damn beetle

Bloody Beetles .... well I have to look at the bulbs for damage and discard all the soil/compost tht they were in and start a fresh !

The colour jumps from the screen.

I didn't see red ones this year around here, only orange and yellow.

Many thanks for this comment - Sadly all my Lillies are now affected with the bloody Lily Beetle - lucky to have got the shots I have had this year - looks like my Lily days are over - the bulbs will be inspected and if OK kept but if there any signs of damage they will be destroyed - the tub compost will automatically be thrown away !
